CONSTELLATION: WE ARE ALL MADE OF LIGHT
Constellation: We Are All Made of Light is an immersive art installation about our interconnectedness created for Farol Santander in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The installation utilizes interactive light, spatial sound, and artificial intelligence (AI) to create audiovisual trails of every person's presence in the three-part exhibiting space, meshing it with trails of other visitors from the past, present, and connecting them with future visitors. The piece has received the international award for the best interactive artwork, Lumen Prize for Art and Technology.

The installation is unique, created for the specific site in Sao Paulo. The audiovisual content is made to evoke a sense of both time and space losing shape where one can only experience the visceral richness of light and sound that emulates the vast and interconnected universe.

The piece is a result of Maja Petric’s creative investigation of how technology can become a vehicle for reaching new emotional terrains that could not be accessible otherwise. Maja was motivated by opportunities that are offered by new technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI), to create a new kind of art experience that can extend our comprehension of the world and what it means to be alive in the interconnected universe.
