Maja Petric is an artist creating immersive installations and dynamic sculptures that evoke the sublime in nature. Eliciting nature allows her to engage people with their innate connection with the environment and other fellow humans to the degree that one can recognize unity with something greater than oneself in a vast and interconnected universe.
She combines light, sound, and cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, computer vision, and robotics to expand the multi-sensory apparatus through which art can be experienced. Her approach is innovation-driven, scientific, and technical. She explores how science and technology in the hands of an artist can become vehicles for reaching new emotional terrains that could not be accessible otherwise.
