Serge Maheu是一位居住在蒙特利尔（魁北克）的艺术家/设计师/程序员/技术总监。作为一名计算机工程师毕业后，他踏上了创作的道路，这使他在艺术界取得了成功，从而成为了一名多媒体制作人。他将自己对电影、动画、摄影、声音与音乐制作、计算机编程、数学、交互性、电子和设计等方面的热爱和经验结合起来，进行跨学科实践。他热衷于移动光线、像素、直线和斜线、基本几何形状、具体、极简主义、重复和折衷的音乐，经常通过创新的艺术作品来表达，尤其是在数字领域。他对于在数字诗意的基础上创造创新艺术，并追求人类与数字世界的关系非常感兴趣。他乐于接受新的想法、合作和艺术（或非艺术）的探索。几年来，他还参与了Wapikoni移动项目，在不同的土著社区担任电影制作导师。他还喜欢每年春天与父亲一起制作的枫树糖浆，但这又是另外一个故事了。

Serge Maheu is an artist/designer/programmer/technical director living in Montreal (Quebec). Trained as a computer engineer， he has followed a more creative path that led him into arts, and ultimately, to become a multimedia director. He now combines his passions and experience in film, animation, photography, sound & music production, computer programming, mathematics, interactivity, electronics and design for a cross-disciplinary practice. He’s an avid-lover of moving lights, pixels, straight and obliques lines, basic geometry and concrète, minimalist, repetitive and eclectic music – often expressed through innovative artwork, especially in the digital realm. He is interested in creating innovative art based on a certain digital poetry while pursuing the relation of mankind with the digital world. He’s open to fresh ideas, collaborations and new art (or non-art) explorations. Since a couple of years, he’s also involved with Wapikoni mobile as a filmmaker mentor for training stopovers in various Indigenous communities. He also enjoys the maple syrup that he produces with his father every spring, but that’s another story.

Serge Maheu est un artiste/designer/programmeur/directeur technique qui habite à Montréal (Québec). Diplômé comme ingénieur informatique, il a cheminé dans les traces de la création qui l’ont fait aboutir dans le monde des arts et ainsi devenir réalisateur multimédia. Il aime toucher à tout dans sa pratique: vidéo, animation, photographie, création musicale et conception sonore, programmation, mathématiques, interactivité, électronique et design. Un amoureux de la lumière en mouvement, des lignes droites et obliques, des formes géométriques simples, des pixels et de la musique concrète, minimaliste, répétitive et éclectique. Il s’intéresse à la création d’œuvres novatrices empreintes de poésie numérique, tout en explorant la relation de l’humain avec le monde digital. Il est toujours ouvert aux nouvelles idées, aux collaborations et à l’exploration de nouvelles possibilités artistiques ou technologiques. De plus, depuis quelques années, il agit à titre de cinéaste accompagnateur avec le Wapikoni mobile, qui œuvre dans différentes communautés autochtones du Québec. Il aime aussi profondément le sirop d’érable qu’il produit avec son père chaque printemps, mais ça c’est une autre histoire.
