Jeppe Hein was born in 1974 in Copenhagen， Denmark, and lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He is an interactive landscape installation artist and a public artist. He has an interest in minimalist sculpture and conceptual art, and is known for his interactive art installations and experiments that trigger the five senses.

Jeppe Heins works are inclusive and often allow the viewer to become a part of the work. He invites the audience to activate the exhibition space, and when the audience enters his work, the work will have a circular change or interaction. Sometimes Jeppe Hein would deliberately let the audience wait and rest in the architectural space before the operation began, and the whole interaction was full of surprise and humor.

Hein also focuses on releasing the limits of the senses. Some of his works appeal to the viewers sense of hearing, while others try to appeal to the sense of smell. In addition to sensory touch, he continues to carry out emotional expression and psychological care art projects in major art museums.

Over the past 20 years, Jeppe Hein has held numerous exhibitions in Europe, the United States, Asia and Australia, created extensive public art projects, and produced permanent public art works around the world. Jeppe Hein said, “I believe that art is a tool to open the heart."
