Quill is bit-wall piece inspired by patterns of eagle feathers. The artwork is made of 20,000 reflective discs mounted on dark silver coated aluminum panels. During the daytime, the artwork appears light green with changing shades of pearlescent color for a viewer in motion. At night, the artwork turns into a vibrant play of color, reflecting the surrounding traffic lights; a visual performance created entirely by the reflection and amplification of its urban night time environment.
