Plume is a permanent installation in the Raleigh Convention Center, and is constructed using the primary components from the Banjostand. A kinetic mobile, Plume's form is inspired by feathers floating in the wind, swirling around a sine curve. The primary building material consists of reclaimed banjo necks and pots. The mobile can be experienced on many different levels of the Raleigh Convention Center and slowly reacts to air currents.
