《Colloid》（胶体）是一种媒体幕墙，覆盖在明尼阿波利斯市中心的塔吉特广场南部（Target Plaza South）的屋顶上，这是一座33层的摩天大楼，也是塔吉特公司的总部。它是2012年塔吉特城市灯光艺术家系列委托作品中的五项之一，其概念来源于明尼苏达州的湖泊。

Colloid is a media facade covering the roof of Target Plaza South, a 33-story skyscraper and corporate headquarters for Target Corporation, in downtown Minneapolis. One of the five commissioned works for the Target’s City Lights Artist Series in 2012, its concept comes from the lakes of Minnesota.

The LED displays covering the roof of the building were designed rather as a public art display, a canvas than a billboard, and as an artful gift to the city of Minneapolis. The lights are an opportunity to connect with the community on a nightly basis and leave a positive impact. The glass outlined volume of the facade is 26x77x45 feet. In the shimmer of 700,000 LED lights, Colloid plays with water forms which reside in a non-solvent environment.

Nohlab created the motion painting artwork thinking of the various states of water such as molecule, crystal, liquid, solid and gas. Concept was inspired by processing the visual richness of the city, surrounded by water and living through four seasons.
