Sofia Castellanos is a star on the rise within Mexicos art scene. A native to the Mexican Capital， Castellanos has developed as an artist, muralist and illustrator in the last few years. With a bachelor in graphic design, she started a specialization on the oriental pencil technique at Michiko Cultural Center, following an intensive course of art history, painting and drawing at the Florence Academy of Art, this allowed her to create her detailed and fantastic style

Sofias work, like the artist herself, is exuberant, life-affirming and disarmingly positive; her unique and colorful style has allowed her to experiment with all kinds of media, from painting gorgeous large scale murals to international commissions and collaborations with big name brands such as: Fendi, Nike, Bombay Sapphire, and Chanel among others. Her work has been featured in Bangkok, Miami, Spain, London, Paris and Mexico. She was chosen as one of the “50 Digital Leaders in Mexico” by Expansion Group ( Elle, Instyle, Quién, Travel + Leisure and Life&Style)
